Halloween in 360

Chasing kids and missing images at parties?

Normally a trip to a daycare Halloween party would have ended differently. We can all relate to the situation. Little ones running around doing what kids do while the adults attempt to keep up with them. Most of the time this means missing out on those special moments captured in photos and videos or even a single picture at all. Shooting in 360 can make that problem go away.

A Daycare Halloween Party!

I wanted to share what I was able to experience today with the kids at Growing with Grace Child Care Center during their annual Halloween party. I volunteered to shoot some videos and pictures for the school so they could share them on their website and social media platforms. This was the perfect opportunity to show the benefits of being able to shoot in 360 and to demonstrate the simplicity of being able to do it.

Capture Images, not (Children’s) Attention

I was able to gather all the kids at the Halloween party and take a couple fun group photos. Normally this wouldn’t have turned out as well as it did. I set up one of the 360Penguins to take continuous video, just in case I needed it later. I think the outcome speaks for itself.

The kids were all so excited to show off their costumes. My son, Triceratops, was excited that he was able to take video of his friends. Yes, my 2-year-old son was the one capturing this 360 footage. That goes to show how incredibly easy the 360Penguin is to use. After the event was over I was able to go through all of the footage we captured and I took snapshots and snippets of videos and pictures to make one video showing their special day to share with all the kids.
