GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS CERTIFICATE:
The first fully spherical HD 360 video filmed on the summit of Mount Everest was shot using 360Heros 360 video gear in MAY 2013. The footage was captured for a documentary by Everest Media Productions about Nepalese climber Apa Sherpa, who also acted as a consultant for the shoot.
The production was a collaboration with 360Heros and received support from HP, Intel,Adobe, Dolby, Steadicam, ATI,NLT, and DJI.

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, the global authority on record-breaking achievements, today announced Everest Media Productions and 360Heros will be recognized for the First Fully Spherical HD 360 Degree Video Filmed on the Summit of Mount Everest.
Everest Media Productions, a film, television, and commercial production company captured the footage in May 2013 for a documentary entitled TIGER OF THE HIMALAYAS: THE APA SHERPA STORY about the Nepalese climber, Apa Sherpa, the 11 time GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS holder for summiting Mount Everest 21 times.
The 3D printed 360Heros 360 Plug-n-Play holder, invented by Michael Kintner, utilizes 6 GoPro® cameras to create interactive fully spherical HD 360 video. The 360 system had only recently been launched and had not been tested at extreme cold temperatures, however Everest Media Productions and 360Heros had a vision and it is an extraordinary achievement. It is a testament to the power of this new technology and an inspiration to us all.
